ATM 133 – Biometeorology explores the dynamic interactions between the physical environment and biosphere, with emphasis on atmospheric and land-surface processes governing exchanges of energy, water vapor, and carbon dioxide. The course emphasizes the roles of weather, radiation, soils, evapotranspiration, metabolism, and agricultural management in influencing microclimates and the behavior and physiology of plants, animals, and humans.
