Mira Segaran is a Senior in Environmental Science and Management with an emphasis on Climate Change and Air Quality. She is currently employed by the City of Sacramento as a Water Conservation Intern. On-campus, she is an active member of the Zero Waste and Sustainability organization leading and driving the sustainability agenda for UC Davis. Upon graduation, she intends to bring greater environmental and sustainability focus to organizations to enable a balanced approach to business profitability and care for the planet. She also aspires to utilize her knowledge and skills in helping poorer communities and nations in driving sustainable development. In her spare time, she enjoys trying her hand on diverse cooking and spending time with her brother and cousins.
