Abinaya Dinesh joined the Global Environmental Change Lab in January 2021 as a sophomore in high school at North Brunswick Township High School. She is interested in learning about ethical artificial intelligence, environmental impacts on public health, and transformational technology for developing modern solutions. She founded her own nonprofit, Impact AI, which advocates for fundamental changes in the field of Computer Science and plans to pursue Artificial Intelligence in college. Currently, she works at the Metropolitan Transport Authority (NY MTA) as a Machine Learning Engineer and is excited to work on new research applying novel technology to identify interactions between the environment and specific health conditions.
